enjoycameralife:The last sunriseon my final morning in Yamanashi, this beautful red Mount Fuji made an appearance. it capped what was already a near-perfect adventure - one that i’m grateful for being able to make. i pushed myself to overcome waves of anxiety and physical obstacles that i never expected to even confront. it broadened my horizons and enabled me to experience things i would never have had i stayed in my comfort zone. this entire journey took me a year to plan, down to the most minute detail. and while there were certainly aspects of the trip i couldn’t control, like the weather and my physical limitations, i think with an open mind, things will eventually work out. i feel that i was able to take some great shots, while far from being perfect, the memories associated with them makes the shots a lot more meaningful for me. the journey can be as evocative as the result - perhaps more so. i basked in the glory of the monolithic Mount Fuji, and now i leave humbled and appreciative of what i’ve experienced. as the bus to Tokyo pulls away from the city of Kawaguchiko, i leave not feeling sad, but grateful that i was able to embark on this adventure.until next time, Yamanashi. by Joey, enjoycameralife.tumblr.comDaily original photographs and creations selected by the imiging team! -- source link
