To everyone to reached out yesterday, you have my utmost gratitude. Your words not only helped to bring peace to me, but to so many others who needed a soft place to fall and found it in YOUR story. Please know we are okay. I know some of you are very worried about us, but rest assured that we DO have help. We do ask for it when we need it. We have survived thus far on the grace of grandparents and friends who bring us meals we don’t have to cook. We are BLESSED. This community of women is, quite frankly, the most beautiful testament to what happens when we Show Up. I LOVE doing life with you. I love that we get to do this as sisters. Please know that when I expel my heart’s words, I am not so much looking to be consoled but to just BE with you. That’s all. Just be with you. I’m not necessarily looking for answers. I’m just looking for YOU. Your you-ness in exchange for my me-ness. That said, I ALWAYS want to hear your stories. I am ALWAYS open to hearing what worked for you and your babes. All that I ask is that you please assume we are doing everything possible for our girl, looking into every possible issue that could be causing her discomfort. Hazel turned 6 weeks last Thursday and this is growth spurt time. As many of you pointed out, THIS is motherhood. It’s brutal and beautiful and sometimes it’s just hard, because it is – nothing more complicated than that. Sometimes we just have to BE in the hard, and find another with whom to endure it. Which is why I bring my hard here. To share it, to release it, to heal. I write to understand how I feel. Putting it on the page is how I process these hard feelings, and in that process my hope is that it speaks to someone else, even if only person. If my story reaches one broken heart, then it was worth it. I love you. Let’s keeping doing life together. Love On. P.S. a BIG THANKS to Nicole of @naturally_nora_crochet for knitting this freakishly cute beanie. Our little baldy loves it! -- source link
