These are my beloved mushroom logs. It’s been about a year and a half since I inoculated them. I’ve harvested maybe 3 or 4 good flushes, but then the dry summer kept them pretty dormant. I know I could soak them in a tub, but it turns out I’m too lazy for that effort. True to my ways, I’m all gusto in the idea/implementation stage, then on to the next thing that glitters. It used to really bum me out that I didn’t have the staying power to see things through to full fruition, but I think I’m over that now. Surprising gift of middle age I guess. Anyway, if anyone can tell me about these mushrooms or what to expect of how to care for them over winter, please do. Shiitake, oyster and lions mane.
