While this photograph was not taken for an article on the police harassing and killing Black drivers, it’s actually Dr Charles Moore photographed for Harvard Magazine for his work in community health care here in Atlanta, damn it jumped out with all that’s happening right now. I was reading a Twitter thread earlier where Black drivers were talking about their encounters with the police while doing nothing absolutely nothing more than driving their car to work, to the shops, to pick up their kids from school, to visit their parents. Bloody frightening stuff.
