vaspider: stellaathena: vaspider: periegesisvoid: periegesisvoid: More solidarity against gatekeeping icons! Plus the original two, so people don’t have to go tracking down multiple posts. Note that the ones with trans symbols are for trans people only! (I know that sounds a little ironic for “solidarity against gatekeeping,” but the point is to show that the full breadth of the community is against gatekeeping, including the cis lgb people that the pro-“SGA” discoursers are counting on, and also if cis people start wearing the trans symbol, people won’t know it means trans and will think it just means gay or whatever type of flag is in the background. It would be sad to lose a symbol like that. If you’re questioning your gender it is definitely ok to use the trans symbol!) @fitzyjk @lauren-m-jankowski, in here are the ones you asked for. Updated version with better text on the ace flags! Please reblog this version! Just to clarify since they’re your icons, are you ok with NB folks using the trans icons? Also, could I request a lesbian flag with the trans symbol? Not for me, for someone else who I think would like these icons. Tagging @wetwareproblem, @autismserenity, @mistresskabooms Non-binary people are trans!Non-binary people are trans!Non-binary people are trans! I agree!I agree! I agree! I’m non-binary/genderfluid! (It’s even on top of my blog!)But I wanted to have that discussion up front and not after I started using an icon. Nothing worse than the “I didn’t mean you, you’re not really trans” AFTER you’ve opted in to including yourself, so I’d rather have that chat up front. -- source link
