Antonio for my Pirate AU!I didn’t try to make it coincide with Mermay, but it’s perfect.He’s fifteen years old here, as all the grandkids are ten years older than in the movie.Antonio can communicate with all sea creatures, and he has a cachalote (sperm whale, the most common sea mammal in the Caribbeans) tail. When he comes out of the water, his tail transforms into legs, but he can’t stay out for long. His human legs are very weak, so he uses crutches or the special ropes Camilo rigged for him throughout the ship to prop himself up.Since the family split apart, he’s stayed mostly with Dolores and Camilo, because he can’t leave the sea and his parents had to be inland (why will be explained in Pepa and Félix’s post). For the last few years, he’s gone out of his own, living and working on a small fishing ship. He’s missed Mirabel dearly, though he was just five when he last saw her so he doesn’t remember her all that clearly.Encanto Pirate AU tag[ID:   two drawings (together on the first picture, separate on the next two)  of Antonio from Encanto.
