Remarkably, this poll is being used by both sides to say how stupid the other side is when, really, it just shows that people do not know the precise names of Raqqa and Aleppo, the actual ISIS strongholds in Syria that people assumed the pollsters were talking about. And let’s be serious, did you know the names of Raqqa and Aleppo before I just told them to you? I didn’t…before I looked them up.It also shows that, when asked amongst serious questions, people will assume that a silly question is serious and subconsciously fill in the gaps.
