Trussardi is to Italy what YSL is to France. There is a reason why Italians dress well and look good doing it. They house some of the best fashion houses in the entire world, and Trussardi is not to be messed with. The use of colors and textures are what really caught my eye. They are making the most of spring that’s for sure. All that Emerald would make the Irish die, and that navy (I can’t even say what it does to me), blue steel, those browns, and those shades of what seem to look like goldenrod are insane, and you can’t do spring without some neutrals. What I really like from Trussardi is that most of their looks and pieces are so transitional from day to night, and you can go from dressy casual to full on Italian dapper. If I had to describe this collection it’s high-end luxury the European way. I mean just look at the details: turtlenecks, leather sleeved windbreakers (from the looks of it), leather drawstring shorts (I NEED THOSE), and those prints.
