sanakanin: Theresia - Ravenclaw colors! We held a mini-meet to welcome Mika, a lolita from the Vegas comm! I pick my coordinates based on where my comm holds its meets, and when one of my favorite restaurants TuanTuan topped the poll, I changed coordinates on the spot. JSK - Inori ‘Maiden of Versailles’ just waist JSK in blue blouse, jacket, tights - all misc. offbrand vest - Zara shoes - Clarks (so worth it. I’ve had them for years and they’re held up beautifully) hat - Landmark. It’s not really a boater, but I applied my usual trick of mashing the crown down, then pushing it back up a little bag - ahcahcum muchacha tie - offbrand For Harry Potter-inspired coordinates, I always start with the tie. The tie dictates which main piece to wear, and the tie is almost the exact same color as the Inori dress. I believe that a lolita coordinate should always contain personal touches. This tie features charts and diagrams of horses! All my immediate family were born in the Year of the Horse. I don’t subscribe to feng shui or astrology, but it’s a fun in-joke and my Dad in particular used to collect all sorts of trinkets featuring horses. For the vest, I decided to break my combo and give my poor Solo vest some much-needed rest. This one is from Zara, and is much more low-cut than the other piece. I actually bought it for ouji, as it doesn’t quite fit properly over a full skirt. Then I had the idea of leaving it unbuttoned to allow more of the tie to show, and fastening it in place with a chain from ToxicKitty. Problem solved! -- source link
