skarmorydraws: SmashHouse.png [Sothis:] “This was NOT what I pictured in my head when Marth 8.0 and I first read that ‘Everyone is Here’ slogan.” This is perhaps the longest Stupid Smash Bros. strip I’ve done to date, and the one with the largest file size to boot, but in the wake of the entire Western Smash fanbase throwing an epic shitstorm over Byleth’s reveal, I couldn’t stop myself. This comic may sound like an author tract on my part, and to some extent it is (I try to ignore fandom activity and just enjoy the media itself for a reason), but you’d think that if the Smash fighters were aware of the series’ fandom and the ugly business it gets caught up in every so often, even they would want to give everybody a collective chill pill as much as Sakurai apparently does (at least given what he’s said about those on Twitter demanding specific characters, anyhow).
