The original movie, which starred Julia Roberts, Kiefer Sutherland, and Kevin Bacon, followed a group of medical students who experimented with near death experiences that involved past tragedies until the dark consequences began to jeopardize their lives. As THR reports, Norton will portray would-be doctor Jamie, and joins previously announced Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, and Kiersey Clemons. Remake, huh? Is that really necessary?
