twunkfag: After months of peaceful protesting to get Omar Al-Bashir, Sudan’s previous president, out of office, the military government has invaded Sudan and they have been torturing Sudanese civilians since June 3rd. These methods of torture include raping innocent people (primarily little girls and women, but also some men), mental torture, urinating on civilians, gun violence, family separation and literally throwing the bodies of the deceased into the Nile River to decompose. Hundreds of people have died and many more have been tortured There is not enough being done right now. News articles are starting to publish articles on the crisis, governments are talking about it, but it’s not enough. Sudanese civilians are currently experiencing an Internet Blackout because the Sudanese Government wants to cover these crimes up. We need to do more.
