emmalazauski: helenmask: Mushishi is one of my all time favorite amine shows. Silver haired anime boys are weakness kakashi, sesshomaru, kurama (from yu yu hakusho), yue (from cardcaptor Sakura)…. The list goes on. I recognized Ginko right away - Mushishi is one of my favorites, too! It’s like James Harriot meets a gorgeous nature documentary meets supernatural mystery, weird fiction and fairy tales. It’s a really difference pace of storytelling and I love it. Possibly the most similar show I’ve seen is “Mononoke,” (not the Ghibli film) which is definitely much more horror oriented and also has a very unique visual style.
