webuiltthepyramids:Just saying.A reader wrote in to ask: “Hey, I’m sorry, but I want to understand a post you made earlier today. It was a tweet to Planned Parenthood, that seemed to have some sass. I thought they were the “good guys”, right? Isn’t access to women’s reproductive health their thing?”Absolutely! The tweet is in support of PP. What the writer is referring to is how pro-life people will say, “Your mom chose life,” meaning, “if your mom chose abortion you wouldn’t be here.”The response is saying, “my mother was in a position to have and want a child.” Implying that not everybody is in that position and state of mind, so what’s good for one person shouldn’t be a mandate on others. Many girls and women aren’t in a position to have a kid, or don’t want to have a kid, and that is their right to make that choice. -- source link
