onisiondrama:onisiondrama:He uploaded the same video to Twitter, Onision, UhOhBro, and Speaks. He had paid memberships on his Speaks and UhOhBro channels, but they seem to be gone. The option to join is longer on the top of those channels.(Pics from the Wayback Machine, December 2020. “Join” button was next to the “Subscribe” button.)According to a leaked Discord chat from his fans, they received a message that their membership was paused. They seem to not be sure if it was James who paused it or Youtube.I did not realize this until now, but the reason his goodbye videos on Speaks and UhOhBro are longer than on Twitter and his main channel is because he put the banana song video at the end.I’ve been curious about if he’s going to try to use his music copyrights to try to still get monetization on YouTube videos through TuneCore, his music publisher. When they claim videos with his music on his behalf, he gets an 80% cut of the profits they make. This might have been a test for him.The goodbye videos don’t appear to be claimed yet, but I noticed in the past it’s sometimes taken a day or two for his own videos to be claimed by TuneCore when he uses his own music in them.Keep an eye out for a box like this under his videos:There was a point where he would purposefully get his “charity” streams/videos claimed by TuneCore so I wouldn’t put this method past him.His Banana Song still seems to be monetized:And it is registered though TuneCore. Here it is claimed on a fan animation by Tunecore “on behalf of Onision”:Banana song still being monetized would make sense if YouTube was paying TuneCore the revenue. Then TuneCore pays James his cut.So… ♀️ I guess we’ll see. -- source link
