Hey guys! James here! Today, I wanted to give you guys a look at some of the work behind the scenes as I work on “Mimiru!” There is story that needs to be written, and a ton of art to create, but I thought it would be cool to show you some of what I’ve been working on lately!While this most likely won’t be the final art style for the series, this image gives you an idea of what I’m thinking as I go through the process of bringing this world together! There have been many ideas tossed around and even more redesigns already in how the world should look, and while I’m close to getting it where I want it to be for the characters, I’m still pretty far on the backgrounds themselves. That’s why I really do need help from other artists  This is being done all while I’m making revisions on the 1st episode’s script, and fleshing out concepts for music, so you can image that it’s been pretty tough sometimes! So, let’s see here, Mimiru, and Kentaro are with a new character! His name is Jay, and they appear to be reading a book! I wonder what it’s about! And what’s up with that look on Jay’s face? Makes me more curious to what part of the story they are at. No spoilers please! Additionally, I’d like to announce that I am opening voice over auditions for a bunch of new characters that will make it in the first three episodes, many of whom have recurring roles as the show progresses. We will also need volunteers for minor roles as well.
