To anyone not reading yet Heart of Gold: this webcomic is impressive. The plot is intricate and tight, the characters feel so genuine, and torn and raw, the narration is just the right amount of “I’ll will not say it outright and let the readers draw conclusions for themselves” and the art is outright to die for (no pun intended). But beyond that, all those elements are not just working by themselves. The plot, and characters, and the narration and the art… They work together in a way I rarely see. I saw that in the tv show Hannibal. And I’m not sure when was the previous time, before that. The vibe of it is whole. The symbolism at every page… I can never say for sure whether is resides in the plot or characters, or colors or narration.This webcomic, this story, is one unit of vice gripping my insides and I can’t get away ‘till I know the end.
