Andrew: Fully agree. They didn’t capture the magic. The trailersdid not sell me on her as this character but the movie sold me on her almost immediately. She is a delight, she’s wonderful, she embodies everything about who thischaracter is.Diana: Yeah from scene one I was like, I’m sold. You’resnarky and you’re badass but you’re not a jerk about it. You feel like she’spowerful. I just don’t know why they couldn’t make a single trailer that mademe feel that way. It’s so weird.Andrew: I think the trailer used very casual lines ofdialogue she said, over very epic action sequences and it just made her feelkind of disaffected because the delivery of the lines they chose don’t matchthe visuals they’re showing and it made it seem like she was underselling thisrole, but then in the movie she’s just dead perfect.- The hosts of Talk From Superheroes on Brie Larson BeingAwesome Even If Her Trailers Weren’t -- source link
