honeycuts: byrdie. a colour collection | download I was, initially, making a colour palette for a project – and then I blinked and this happened. it’s a tradition, at this point, to post a colour palette every time I move blogs. hopefully this is massive enough to keep me from making more though. ⋒ DETAILS ⋒ there are 96 colours in total, spread across 5 palettes that can be used as they are, or you can mix and match the different palettes together and it still looks somewhat cohesive. the basics is the, well, basic palette. it’s the most versatile of them all, and can be used as it is easily. the terracotta palette is inspired by clay earrings and Mediterranean summers, and has a lot of… terracotta shades, with some lovely blues thrown in to balance it out. featuring a mustard yellow I didn’t know what to do with. the academia palette is the one for the neutral shades, and the one to satisfy my need for dark academia-inspired content. the accents are bright and bold, and they’re mostly designed to be used with the other colours or for accessories (though I included some less vibrant shades for colour-block looks and such). and the prada palette is inspired by my unwavering love for Prada’s FW15 ready-to-wear collection. it’s literally just some colours lifted and slightly edited from there. ⋒ WHAT’S INCLUDED ⋒ there are preview images, Photoshop recolouring actions (.atn), Photoshop swatches (.aco), and S4S palette files all zipped up in a zip file. about the actions: they don’t merge after they’re done so you can adjust the layers if you need to, or you can clip them to your texture if you prefer using .png files. about the palette files: just copy and paste them into your Sims 4 Studio > Palettes folder, and you can access them in the Studio through Tools > Colour Palette. ⋒ TOU ⋒ there’s no need for linking back to this post, but please tag me if you use them! I’d love to see and download your creations! also, I can’t see it happening, but just in case: please don’t use them for any non-sims related things that you’ll profit off of. thank you! + credits: heymoondesigns, helloashto, gabi the label for colour inspo | missmoss on pinterest for more colour inspo | @pooklet for their colour actions that taught me how to make them -- source link
