The Rauix“If you find yourself in Karamouska or some other city of the Valeran East, notice how most of the lizards there are gray. Those are the Rauix, a large clan of lizardkin. Graykin choose to reject the hive-like culture of the Xumaican lizards, partaking in individualism and meritocracy instead, and adapting to a life among the cities of men. Their innate cunning and beast-like spontaneity allows the more humanized Rauix to easily innovate the traditional customs of men. It should come as no surprise - many successful governments or merchant guilds were founded or advised by a Rauix. However, such individualism and cultural estrangement lead many Graykin to exploit their reptilian gifts in other roles; finding great fortune as assassins, con artists, thieves or poisonmakers.Unlike most lizardkin, It’s unusual for a Rauix to delve into the ways of magic, for it is not ingrained in their culture (save the usual deceiving street cantrips). Interestingly to note, however! I have met one who did dominate the weave - and quite spectacularly, at that. I could tell it was exotic magic - the likes of the moonfell beasts… But that is a story for another time.”The Tupaks“To study arcane knowledge is uncommon in lizard culture. Magic comes innately to the tribes of their people, and tradition is passed on by means of spoken tales. The Tupaks, however, are an exception to the rule; these blue lizards are reckless, vigorous scholars. Tupaks seek, hunt, collect and store all manners of secret knowledge, and have a strange fascination for dragons and their forgotten history. Instead of seeking out the path of wild sorcery as most lizards do, the Tupaks prefer the lawful nature of classic wizardry, and take to learn as many languages in life as one possibly could." -- source link
