hyenafan:alarajrogers:No.You know you’re a 90′s kid when your vaccinations were mandatory and no one in your class got chicken pox. Because I am a 70′s kid, and our vaccinations were mandatory, but they hadn’t invented the chicken pox vaccine yet so we all got chicken pox. The 90′s is notable for being the last decade before anti-vaxxers became a serious thing, and also for having invented the chicken pox vaccine, so if you’re trying to identify 90′s kids as opposed to 60′s, 70′s or 80′s, simply the presence of vaccinations won’t do it. It has to be vaccinations plus no chicken pox.Can confirm. In kindergarten (96-97)I went to a birthday party and everyone got the chicken pox, even my mom, who’d had it before, but I didn’t because I got vaccinated already. -- source link
