Lovely portrait. It seems that successful nude portraits have to work on two levels. They have to be images involving a degree of exposure that is compelling in some way AND they have to give the viewer some insight into the personality of the subject. The former is common enough but in most of the nude images we see the model is portraying something: seductiveness, surprise, some degree of ecstasy, etc., etc. With this picture, on the other hand, we come away knowing that this woman is comfortable with her body, not afraid to be a little bit daring, and playful. She probably enjoys occasionally shocking her friends (and lovers!). -- source link
