Making It ‘Effective’Of course we started out with ‘play’ spankings… I sort of ‘dared’ Karen to make them harder and harder… even being a bit of a brat at times…“You know,” I told her, “If I ever get too annoying with my smart mouth, you could always just haul off and give me a ‘real’ spanking if you wanted… if you think you could make it effective…” There – right there – I was being a pest while sort of apologizing for being a pest!“Oh?” was all she said.“I mean, I just don’t want you thinking I’m just saying that to get more fun spankings when you’re really getting sick of me…”“Oh, I’m sure I can make it ‘effective’ if I ever need to…” she said, and my heart went thump. “Maybe I should try using this hairbrush?”I guess it wasn’t a coincidence that I had suggested this with the hairbrush sitting right there – it was sort of what triggered my bringing it up. Though now I was having major butterflies.“Yeah,” I said non-committally. “Do you think that would work?” My mouth was almost too dry to speak.“Oh, I think so,” she said with a smile. “You seem to suffer a bit just from my hand, when we’re playing.”“No tears, though,” I quipped. Oh God – WHY did I say THAT?“Not yet, anyway,” Mrs. Grant said, giving me a searching look. “Did we need to try this now?”My heart was pounding and my mind blank.
