amarriageoftrueminds:amarriageoftrueminds:Me RN in the This Hannibal with this Will thread on the twits: They meet at a house party AU OK but what if everything else is the same tho?so it’s fancyass Ivy League type houseparty in a mansion where Hannibal is a visiting exchange (med) studentand Will isn’t a guesthe is just there trying to get paid his money for fixing the rich owner’s speedboat in their lakehouseand he didn’t know the owners kids were going to be throwing a rager while the ‘rents were out of townbut he ends up pulling a Good Will Hunting when one of the rich asshole party kids tries to use him to demonstrate how dumb poor people are (and then imply that will is a rent boy because he’s pretty, and good for nothing else) BUT THEN HE GUTS A FISH RIGHT THERE OR STHALSO: While Will is ‘handling’ the rich asshole kid, some of the other rich asshole kids decide to zip-tie him to a railing or w/e as a prank (to keep him there until the rich parents come back, to pay him, and also so’s they have time to bribe him into remaining silent about their party). And just as Hannibal is thinking ‘I should gut that rude man like a fish’ Will coolly pulls out a super sharp knife, and cuts through the tie with a delicate flick of the wrist and That One Certain Glint in his eye and Hannibal is ~*Besmitten BUT,  Hannibal has also been drinking like an Eastern European and does not realise how drunk he is. So when he goes over to talk to Will he starts speaking in Lithuanian without realising. And when Will points out he doesn’t speak that, Hannibal panics and asks if he speaks French. So by the time they’ve been chatting in halting, Parisian/Creole French for a bit, Alana comes over and is like ‘Hannibal why don’t you just speak English??’ And Will is like ‘You speak English?!’ And melancholy drunk Hannibal says, miserably: ‘I misplaced that information.’ And Will, starting to laugh says: ‘You mean… you forgot??’And to overcome this Horrifying Event Hannibal has no choice but to murder the asshole who was rude to Will, after the party.Possibly while severely hungover.And the rude asshole probably turns up as a headless practise-cadaver in one of Hannibal’s classes. i am WHEEZING please write this i LOVE IT especially ‘hannibal has been drinking like an eastern european’ and will with precision knife skills and this could be the college frat douchebag AU the fandom NEEDS -- source link
