But we want to get it out there, and we need funds to publish paper copies of the book and to publicize it. It’s due out in October 2012. It takes place in a world where same-sex couples (Parallels) run the government in close association with a powerful religious organization. Opposite-sex couples (Perpendiculars) are criminalized, sent to rehabilitation camps, and treated as outcasts. it’s basically a really really ridiculous dumb “reversing the status quo" novel that promises to be nothing but an exercise in terriblenessand it’s already reached its 500 dollar goal(my favourite part is the suggestion that a heterosexual love story is TOO CONTROVERSIAL FOR THE TRADITIONAL PUBLISHING WORLD)IM DONE WITH EVERYTHING -- source link
