hclib: Babe Ruth at the Catholic Boys Home, Minneapolis, 1926. Babe Ruth was in town the week of November 1, 1926. He visited the Catholic Boy’s Home, worked out with the football Gophers, visted a friend in the hospital - as well as did some vaudeville at the Pantages. He also was getting over a very bad cold during all the activities. The Catholic Boys Home is now the St. Joseph’s Home for Children. -- source link
