The girls saw their chance for freedom as the guard had stepped away momentarily. Hands still tightly bound behind their backs, they decided to make a run for it. Unfortunately, they weren’t quick enough…they were both wearing flip-flops which made it difficult to run very fast, and they were both quickly apprehended. Now bound hand and foot, the two captives could do little but moan in despair as their only hope of escape was cruelly snatched away from them. -- source link
