fannyrosie: Kissa menu series: ナポリタン (Napolitan)Here’s the first post of this series. I’ll be going from savories to sweets, and then, to drinks. A few years ago, I did a tea series, but I never found the time or energy to do another similar series. Now that I am stuck home because of Omic*on, and I am missing kissa and crust hunting, I decided to do this kissa food and drinks inspired outfit series. Expect more (I already did 9 menu items now, but I might do 2-3 more if you like them).Napolitan is a totally non-Italian spaghetti dish made of ketchup, veggies and sausages. It is traditionally served in a metal plate on a wooden tray, like on my brooch, but the only nice picture I’ve ever taken of Napolitan was in a porcelain plate (which is still more common now). Is Napolitan good? Not particularly. But it’s an absolute kissa classic. You can also find it in most yoshoku restaurants (mon Google Maps est en français et les appelle “restaurants occidentaux japonisants” et c'est exactement ça).Outfit rundownSkirt: vintageTurtleneck: thrifted Cecil McBeeCardigan: thrifted FintHead scarf: Kaori no MoriBoots: Sperry Topsiderナポリタン brooch: Mayokichiya3D Napolitan brooch, earrings and drawstring bag: presents from friends (made by local artists) Thought I could add pictures of the food in question on reblogs, which would let people reblog only the outfit if they want.ナポリタン -- source link
