Going to be afk for about a week and a half. I’m going to War! I unfortunately do not have enough gear for a week-long war, so I’m desperately trying to make things right now. See the pic? Busy constructing a pair of shoes at this very moment, so I don’t bring shame unto my SO and zir Laurel by wearing mundanes or my bog shoes all week. I’ve poked myself with the needle enough to draw blood only once so far.To-do list includes finishing shoes, patterning and constructing a Polish coat (and likely hemming it and adding the buttons and braid decor in the car), and packing. I was hoping to get another dress and pair of pants made, but didn’t get my rear in gear in time. Will hopefully be enjoying decent (warm!) weather near New Orleans. All my armor seems to be functional and SO has almost finished repairing theirs, so we should get to do as much fighting as we want. If any of you are SCAdians and going to Gulf Wars, we’ll be there. -- source link
