hospitalglam:A white paper sheet is a makeshift white paper gown. I’m practicing for my wedding day. I’m planning to replace my Pregnancy Class D medication with something that will make my body more hospitable for my future children. Or at least my gastroenterologist is. My GP says I scar easily and that I shouldn’t get any piercings. I already have too many ugly scars from where I’ve picked at my skin. It is unattractive. Never mind that the picking is a distressing compulsion. Or that I have anxiety. My psychiatrist wonders if I have ever had any problems with attraction to other women. I wonder what qualifies as a problem. My psychiatrist stops asking me about sexual side effects after learning that I am unpartnered. I am not out as queer to any of my doctors. They envisage for me a life that involves a husband and our home-grown babies. They make decisions with this picture in mind. They do not ask me. I do not know how to speak up. -- source link
