“I didn’t know how to “confess” but I just really wanna say that I don’t understand why people like to ship jeanne/vanitas bc it feels so forced in the manga and it just feels like a pairing that is there to be hetero because we all know that vanitas and noé’s relationship was more romantic than platonic and it felt naturally develop and lets be honest the sole purpose of jeanne and vanitas is just to be the girl/mcboy pairing any other manga has and it felt so forced when jun decided to insert jeanne with vanitas  it made no sense, their realtionship its a big turns off bc we all know it that if noé was a girl or vanitas, everyone would have shipped them and compared that their romance was a kind of tragedy like romeo&juliet and I really hope j/v don’t end up together bc its really doesn’t made sense why would he like her and their interactions feels cringe and that’s a problem jun has with her stories and random pairings it happenend in ph too when when she tried to force the ozxecho pairing when in reality made no sense as to why oz would like her like they had zero interactions that would lead for oz to like her in a romantic way because the only thing he felt for her was pity and with j/v I would even say is just the heterenormativity in the manga genre acting and I don’t like how the fandom feeds on it because jeanne is pretty“ -- source link
