It’s always nice to see people loving their children… my parents were young when they had me. My family didn’t have much, but I knew that I was loved. My stepfather even raised me as his own, and we have a great relationship til this day. My biological father, as fucked up, and as manipulative as he is, always told me that he loved me, and tried to show me that he cared in between his battles with drug abuse. I was always jealous of the kids who came from families that didn’t care, because of the amount of freedom that they seemed to have… I didn’t realize how fortunate that I was back then… -- source link
