peacemaker-ic:kiwisim4:Ok….. does anyone know why my mesh is tearing apart like that ?Weirdest part is the topology doesnt even have triangles …..Was going to reply but it got long-winded. You really should triangulate before importing. Games render meshes as triangles, so upon import S4S will convert any shapes of more then 3 points into triangles. I prefer to do it prior in blender to have a bit more control then the auto-generation. The specific issue you are seeing is isolated to nVidia cards and anti-aliasing. There is a post up on how to fix it (using a third party program) which I do myself. More info here: https://ivo-sims.tumblr.com/post/164549540267/how-to-get-rid-of-lines-that-appear-onNot everyone is going to do the above (understandably) so you can fix for most meshes that contain a few cut areas. To solve this I use modifiers on my meshes which are the triangulate modifier and split edges. Before importing, I apply both of these modifiers then go into edit mode. From there I select the entire mesh, then press P key for Separate menu and select “buy loose parts”. I then exit edit mode and remerge all the highlighted groups into one again. This method only works if you end up with a minimum of 3-4 separated groups. I find this works to remove the lines (probably works in similar way that smoothing groups do since blender doesn’t support that). Doesn’t work for 100% of items with the issue (mainly items with no breaks in them), but I have had good success with it and carry out this process for all my creations. -- source link
