heterotopian: The Tale of Two Cities according to Stephi and Heiko - Part 366Already during school, young people are often asked what are they planning on doing with their lives, especially what kind of job they want to take on later. There are a lot of opportunities to get information about possible job educations, studies, etc. For one there is the almighty internet, local information centers. But if you want to learn a practical job it is best to get to know the companies personally. That’s where today’s topic comes into play. Once or twice a year there are big job fairs in the bigger cities, where companies present themselves to possible trainees and older pupils try to sort out, what kind of job they are suited for and what company might be have an interesting offer. Stephi and I didn’t attend a job fair (at least that’s true for me, even though I cam close of having to represent my company this spring). That’s why we are showing you pictures of advertising posters from our respective cities. As you can see, the posters are similar and some might believe hat I posted the same picture twice. But if you look closely, I did not. The dates are different as are the cities. Also, the poster for Munich is way older than the one from Cologne. This topic also offers little insight in how we work as Steph’s picture is sitting in our Dropbox for a couple of years now. I just passed the poster from Cologne some time in March, after the fair. As you see, it takes tome for us to find matching pictures but we usually get the job done.Has anyone fo you attended a job fair? Or is thats something that doesn’t take place in your country? -- source link
