“They say it is a blessing, but I am sure Hayate believes it is a curse.”Around the time I got my tablet last year, Hayate has been living in my head and I’ve been having him pay rent in the form of angst. I have a lot of ocs. But I think Hayate is definitely the most tragic. He’s been through A LOT. He’s also my first ever protagonist who is a straight up douchebag. There are reasons as to why he is. But he’s fun precisely because he’s a douchebag. I’ve been working on this for a couple of months. So as you can see, the quality of the art improves with each image. At least I think it does *sweats*. This short comic depicts Hayate’s journey through his life. All the important people in his life are depicted here. None of them are repeated except for Rio who is there thrice cause he’s an attention hog. Yeah, I’m glad to just get this out here. I know since everything is grey it’s a bit hard, but this was started back when I was still uncomfortable coloring with my tablet. Whoop. Let’s hope I never meet Hayate.
