This song was originally supposed to delve more into the backstory of Cinderella’s pink dress, as well as some of the history and emotional involvement she still had with her parents. It’s very harrowing that they cut this, especially since a predisposed view to how much the dress meant to Cinderella would’ve made the already scorching scene of when her stepsisters tear it to rags that much more poignant and alive onscreen. -- source link
