In The Marvelous Land of Oz, one of the characters is a Highly Magnified and Thoroughly Educated Woggle-Bug. Fairly beetle-like.Oh, and the main character in this book? Tip, a boy raised by a witch.Spoilers for this book:Tip is actually Ozma, the rightful rule of the Emerald city, who was hidden as an infant by being turned from a girl into a boy. At the end of the book the spell is reversed.asjgtklhyokjt ALL THE OZ REFERENCES.Other fun facts:The Woggle-Bug was a minor character who everyone hated but was actually the least annoying of the group and the speaker of all truths;The Woggle-Bug was a break-out fan favorite for a few years;When Tip turns into Ozma, he SAYS he’s the same person, but Ozma’s personality in all subsequent books is very, very different to Tip’s.All of which may or may not be relevant to Kurt or other characters.I need to do some thinking about the many, many Oz references on this show and how they tie together and what they mean.I’d forgotten that info about the Woggle-Bug! Thank you.Also, Tip stole a life-giving powder from the witch he was raise by, and uses it to bring a pumpkin-headed figure (Jack Pumpkinhead), a wooden sawhorse, and the Gump to life.Jack calls Tip “Father”.
