katatty:Ever since reading that @yandereplumsim post about the Belladonna Cove street layout I have been thinking about it non-stop! I ended up firing up sc4 and trying my hand at a slightly alternative design for the city (while keeping the parts I liked about the original) - I’m really happy with the result! The “tech” area is more cental now, the “industrial” area is by the water (I imagine it being the shipping/docks area) and top of the hill is now strictly “old money”. The cute path up to the museum is inspired by an old @pleasant-lives post. I dunno, I just like having it looking a bit more centralised and “busy” while still keeping seperate districts. Before, MS paint “planning” & after:I’m not sure if I plan on doing my own full version of Belladonna Cove (@plumbtales is doing such an amazing job already) but I might poke around with it when I’m inspired :D -- source link
