Today is thee day of the Beautiful, Black, Q.T. Connections event!About this eventBeautiful, Black, Q.T. Connections is a free digital event organized by paid digital organizers and community members (Dorian Minley, Tj Davis, Lareashia Harlin, and Adilah Didi Adi) to connect 2-22 Black, queer, and trans people living in Detroit, Highland Park, and Southfield, Anishinabe Land.We are hoping that most people who attend our event will gain two or more meaningful connections that will develop into healthy, loving, nurturing, solidarity relationships.We had a screening process for people who registered because we want to ensure our event is not a safe space for predators, abusers, enablers of predators, or fuck bois. Members of those groups should be handled accordingly (in the Indigenous-Black-African way).The only people welcome in this space are people who are pro-Black, Black AF, and Black QT lovers of the Black LGBTQIA community.To all the attendees, thank u for registering + we look forward to e-linking with u tonight, May 29th from 5 P.M. - 7 P.M!
