Day 30+101: The bleeding inside ABS-CBN continues, as more and more of its employees lose their jobs, as a result of Congress’ non-renewal of their franchise. . A few days ago, friends in the Regional Network Group were advised of the closure at the end of August. And then there were employees here in Metro Manila who the company had to let go. . When this photo was taken, @abnerpmercado and I were talking about Japan, reminiscing experiences and exchanging tips, as well as future plans of visiting the country again. . While I may have only recently worked with him in producing news stories, he was always one of those journalists whose work I admired. And it was nice to have worked with him on stories about the faithful, farmers and civil society. . I will always consider it an honor and a privilege to have worked with you Kuya @abnerpmercado. Perhaps when the quarantine is lifted, and things are better, we should have that cup of coffee in UPD, which we always talked about, but never really had the time to have. .
