mateusprovinggrounds: Proving Grounds: Pre-Games Social Events Truly a who’s who list of important individuals attended this weekend’s Proving Grounds social event. From important business men, to merchant princess, to nobility form as far as Ishgard to as close as the magnificent Ul’dah. Lady Owuwu welcomed and hosted the festivities while service was provided the first evening by the Whispered Wish, and the second by STEAM. Gladiators, fierce and thirst for blood were shown off, patrons were able to choose some for sponsorship, while most, already sponsoring, were free to show off their champions.It was a chance for the powerful to rub elbows under the guise of the Proving Grounds. Trash talking was shared among the gladiators, and wine was served plenty…especially to the generous lady Owuwu.
