My thanks to long-term friend of the blog Yanni, who has sent in another fantastic submission this week! Unknown whether this gentleman was truly North African as his clothes suggest (the picture bears a striking resemblance to some published by Lehnert & Landrock, taken in Tunisia using local models), or a wealthy European dressed for the costume parties so popular in his era. And I must admit I’m a tad dubious whether we do indeed see his own equipment peeping so impudently from the folds of his trousers - the shape appears just a little unreal, I wonder if he is fooling us with a phallic carving or sculpture placed there to shock and tease his friends! -- source link
