TLDR: “An Exceptional Stage” has two effects that don’t enhance each other, and are rare to want at the same time. You’re probably better off using anything else, but Endure memoria are rare so you also might want to keep it around. …Just, throw it in the Memoria Vault Jail for now. This memoria was part of a Login Bonus associated with Halloween events.Review: The effects for “An Exceptional Stage” don’t exactly combine to make a really good memoria– they’re mostly there for flavor, as that is what Shizuku (Chase) and Ayaka (Endure) can be associated with. Truthfully, the effects are almost opposed in a way– it’s not very likely you’ll be in a situation where you want to use both of them at once (it’s possible, but it won’t be often). Endure is a good “oh-shit” button. If your character is getting low, you can activate this memoria to keep them alive, potentially– the issue is that it only protects your character from one attack, and it doesn’t have an additional effect that will help keep your character alive if they face even more attacks.Meanwhile, Chase has some potential uses. Chase will ignore Evade, so it can be used as a way of getting extra damage on an enemy. However, this memoria doesn’t come with an effect that boosts damage, making the Chase’s hits feel lackluster.See the issue? These effects don’t combine to make it really effective.Now, it’s possible some folks will want to keep “An Exceptional Stage” around. It’s the highest active Chase chance available for NA Refugees:(Limited 4*) “An Exceptional Stage” Chase [50%] & Endure (Self / 1 Turn)(Limited 3*) “Heart of Sincerity” Chase [30%] (Self / 1 turn)(4*) “To Continue Living in This World” Chase [21%] (Self / 3 Turns) & Defense Down [12.5%] (All / 3 Turns)It’s also one of two memoria that NA Refugees will have regarding Endure:(Limited 4*) “Mami of the Land of Sweets” Endure & Anti-Counter [100%] & Attack Up [30%] (Self / 1 turn)(Limited 4*) “An Exceptional Stage” Endure & Chase [50%] & (Self / 1 Turn)In particular, Endure can only be found on limited memoria, so it’s worth keeping for that alone (potentially).But when you consider all the memoria in the game, “An Exceptional Stage” comes across as really lackluster. There are way better memoria out there for increasing damage and dealing with Evades, and there are way better memoria for protecting a character– in fact, the low HP and DEF stats on “An Exceptional Stage” can make your character even more likely to need that Endure than if you used something else!Overall, you may want to keep this memoria since it’s Limited and Endure is rare to get.
