Who knows! **** and then……found copies of these on several auction sites listed as being by Jo Puthod……now both models I believe do appear at some point in Agelou series, so may be contemporary but….there is no studio mark JA and perhaps the biggest indicator is that I don’t recognise that carpet! So who was Jo Puthod? I can’t seem to find anything out about him/her. Which also means (by virtue of the carpet) that these are by Jo Puthod too?Well this caused some debate - and I have found other auction sites showing some of these as Agelou’s work. Magoothings has pointed out more links to Agelou through props and backgrounds……so we are back to these being Agelous’ I’m pleased really. They look like Agelou’s work and I have never heard of Jo Puthod……unless Jo Puthod was one of the many aliases that Agelou used, especially when the heat was on from the authorities. -- source link
