bodyhairqueens: noreasonreally: like i know this is a choice thing and there are more important things going on in society but just for what it’s worth: a few weeks ago i went to a friend’s house with a six pack of brewskies. went to the bathroom, then headed outside for a cigarette. i’m halfway out the door and her roommate who i just met screams at me from across the room to wash my hands. apparently i forgot? sorry about my scatter-brain, i’ll apologize when you stop shouting at me like a dog. i ignore her and step outside to smoke and hear them start talking about me inside. “she’s so gross, doesn’t even shave her armpits.” both the friend and her roommate are going on about it. finished my cig, went in, took the rest of my beer, said goodbye. sorry that forgetting to wash my hands was so offensive - yknow, only 66% of americans wash their hands, and of that only 44% use soap, so like, sorry for that one time i forgot and you had to scream about it. if it’s that big a deal, maybe try talking to me like a human next time. and sorry that my body hair is wigging you out, too. sorry that your sweat rolls down your arms because you don’t have hair there to catch it and dry it out. and, finally, i’m sorry that you talk about me behind my back. underneath all this fuzz, i’m a pretty good friend. and no amount of shaving cream can change the fact that you are not. and you know who didn’t mind this armpit hair? your mom, last night, when i banged her. ♥♥ -- source link
