We’re now going to show you some of the backstage footage we’ve collected over the season – footage never seen before until now![ The CEOs turn to a TV nearby, and the main camera shifts to show everyone at home the same video of participants backstage. First, is a shot of Team Ricky gathered backstage, chanting “Team Ricky, let’s stir up excitement!” Team Jinri are in a similar state, together before their first performance, with Jinri offering them some last encouraging words. Then comes Team Luna after their performance of Abracadabra, where they’re all beaming and Seulgi hugs Chorong tightly. And then comes Jihyun and Hyojin’s MVP Stage, where Jihyun wipes the tears Hyojin sheds in the emotion of the moment. ]It looks like even though this is a competition, many friendships were born out of the hardships of the team challenges. “I think so,” So Jisub adds fondly. “It’s a competition, and yet high-stress situations often bring people together, especially when they’re working in teams. I hope that the relationships the contestants and their coaches built this season last well after we’ve stopped talking about MGA Season 3.”“I think we can all second that,” Baek Jiyoung says, and all of the other CEOs murmur their agreement.“Where were the fond moments for my teams?” Katie Lee questions after a moment.Yes, let’s talk about that. There’s been a bit of controversy surrounding MNET’s editing this season.“As there always is,” Katie Lee adds, and she laughs, but there’s a glint in her eye that suggests she isn’t entirely amused. Tiger JK nods from beside her.As Katie Lee mentioned, Team Tiffany even performed their own song, and many think the song addressed their feelings on the editing of their team’s interaction with the public. I’m sure we can already guess, but how do you feel about the editing?“Probably similar to them,” Katie Lee answers with a nod. “A little movie magic can make a situation appear how anyone wants it to. Some contestants are a little shyer than others, and it’s easy to make them appear cold by emitting some footage and showing something else. Either way, I’m really proud of how the team used the situation to their advantage. I don’t think there was a better way of reacting than channeling it into their performance, and telling the audience they felt made to be something they weren’t.”“I have a bone to pick with MNET too,” Tiger JK announces, with a single raised finger and a smirk. “I get it though, it’s all for good TV. I just want to remind the audience that there’s a lot more that goes on than what they see and hear, and to try to use their own judgement. Better yet, when somebody is holding an event, drop by and check it out for yourself! I didn’t get to try any of the food Team Bobby handed out myself, but I heard it was pretty good. It seems like a lot of us missed out.” -- source link
