Not just with music, it’s seeing the same 10 light skinned/safe brown actresses in every movie. It’s finally seeing a girl who looks like you on the big screen only have one line. It’s dark skin characters being anger, manipulative and bitter. It’s the light skinned girl at work who has poor customer service but gets more tips than you. It’s being the only dark skin girl in class and always getting in trouble for nothing or doing what everyone else is. It’s exhausting.
