A great part of the appeal in these pictures is their age, all the signs of wear & tear and the fading effects of time are a wonderful reminder of the years that have passed, all the places the prints have been kept - was each individual copy treasured and passed on with care; or forgotten, only to surface later for a whole new audience to appreciate. -- source link
