The ArtStation challenge is finally over and I’m SO excited to begin sharing my work with you! It was one of the most intense projects I’ve ever worked on, the last 4 days of it I worked for 15 hours each day and it was hell but I loved every second of it! I’ve never been this excited for a project and the characters I created are so close to my heart now. It sounds cheesy af but they feel like friends now and I’ll miss them in a way. ☁️ //The idea of the challenge was to create a lineup of 8 characters. It was my 1st time doing a lineup so it was indeed very challenging and new for me! I wanted to include some storytelling in this project to make my characters more believable and evoke certain emotions. I think this really helped me in the process and I found out how much I actually enjoy storytelling! So here is the main character in my story - Makoto, a former samurai who disobeyed his wicked master and became a rōnin. His daughter mysteriously disappeared after the conflict so he’s out to find her. // I’m doing a step-by-step for this character which I’ll post this week so stay tuned! I posted a lot of the progress on these characters in my Instagram stories so you can follow me there if you want to ^^ -- source link
