Some art redraws I’ve done in the last couple of days. The top is a 12+ year comparison and uses the same mediums - coloured pencil on paper with an inked lineart. Wanted to make the new one a bit more hopeful and make the posing more interesting.The second one is about 10+ year gap. On the redraw (sketches) I wanted to focus on really pushing the poses, getting the movement, making the character look grounded/weighted in reality and not being afraid to do interesting head tilts or angles (even if it obscures the face.)Very pleased with both but more importantly I know the kid version of me would Freak Out if they saw it. -- source link
